The houses of this famous village are built on a sloping slope, which, if viewed from a distance, is a multifaceted village. The house’s rooms often have wooden windows that looks like sash, and often have wooden logs stretching out into tight alleys.

The outer walls of these houses are covered with red soil. Due to the presence of houses on sloping slopes, there is not enough room to build the warehouse. Hence, each household, according to ancient habitats, has built a warehouse in the hills around the village and used it to store livestock, winter food, or necessary things. These caches are like a cave, and only small doors can be seen from the outside.

Historical Ceremony:

One of Abyane’s famous celebrations, which is performed every year with a great spiritual excitement, is the ritual of “palm rest”. The palm is a renowned ritual that is performed mainly in the central cities of Iran such as Yazd and Kashan and some villages in these areas to mourn the Imam Hussein’s third Imam of Shiites. In fact, the palm is a wooden instrument whose cross-section at the beginning and the end is like a servant. This palm is decorated with all kinds of colorful fabrics and metal ornaments, and is carried on special days in different neighborhoods and alleys during the month of Muharram, especially Ashura. The palm is guided along the way by the man who sits on top of it, followed by mourning groups. This collective movement is a symbol of the funeral of Imam Hussein (AS).
